OU Mackson: Burna Boy is Ungrateful

OU Mackson: Burna Boy is Ungrateful!

Burna Boy is Ungrateful
Burna Boy is Ungrateful

‘If WizKid wasn’t my friend I will punch him in the face’ that statement alone speaks volumes of hate and envy already from Burna Boy.

He should be grateful to the Nigerian people for taking him this far, for helping him get to Grammy level and even winning.

We, Nigerias made Wizkid, Davido and Burna, daring to tear down either Bigwiz or Davido with hate is a blow on our faces.

Burna Boy should know that Nigerians aren’t joking and can bring him down the same way we made him.

Because You Have Grammy doesn’t give you the effrontery to tear down one thing that positively represents the Nigerian people. The Grammy sef wey dey enter your head was us the Nigerian youths that made it possible of which BigWiz sef has one.

Painting your cruel message with ‘If wizkid wasn’t your friend’ doesn’t change the narrative.

You don’t even have the awards you mentioned, You don’t have the most certified African album, Yousouf n’dour’s has it and Wizkid has African Album worldwide. Brother Burna Boy abeg stop this drama and constant hate against Davido and Wizkid please, it’s not healthy for you or the Nigerian entertainment industry at large, no let devil use you Abeg.

I’m not a fan of just Wizkid or Davido, I am a fan of Burna Boy,Wizkid, Davido and every Nigerian artist making Nigerians proud back home in Nigeria and in diaspora; I just love good Music especially of the Afrobeat sound.

This Afrobeat that Burna is harvesting from was launched by D’banj and the rest, long before Burna Boy even came into limelight.

Self praise is part of the game but not in the way Burna is doing it.

We the Nigerian people and lovers of the Nigerian entertainment expect Burna Boy to know that Nigerian music; Afrobeat, is the only export we are proud of and he should know that talking down on any of our celebrities; Wizkid, Davido, Kizz, Tiwa Savage, Tems and the rest of them.

Constantly talking down and rivalries on Bigwiz and Davido is endangering the Nigerian Industry where Burna feeds from.

The Nigerian population is over 206 million and according to the United Nations, the Nigerian population could hit 387 million by 2047, we are large enough for Burna, Wizkid, Davido and other entertainers to build a large fan base that could project them for the Grammys, and more. Hate is not necessary at all.

Burna Boy Sir, Abeg whenever you think of talking about BigWiz, always remember that bros has 279 Nominations and won 80.

Wizkid was nominated for AEAUSA 7 times won 5

Wizkid was nominated for AFRIMA 19 times won 7

WizKid was nominated for BET Awards 7 times won 4

Wizkid was nominated for Billboard Music Award 8 times won 3

Wizkid was nominated for Grammy 4 Time won 1

WizKid was nominated for MTV EMAs 6 times won 3

Wizkid was nominated for NAACP Image award 4 times and cleared all 4

WizKid was nominated for The Headies 62 times won 19 times

WizKid was nominated for Soul Train Music Award 3 times won 2

WizKid was nominated for so many local and street awards and won many.

The above list didn’t include local awards that aren’t recognized. If we were to mention all his awards from all brands and outfits that have ever given him award, Wizkid would have more than one thousand (1000) Awards, because we at OU Entertainments have given WizKid 3 awards as far back as 2012.

Burna Boy has less than 50 Nominations and didn’t win up to half of his nominations.

We are not trying to talk down Burna Boy or size him and Davido or BigWiz, they all have their uniqueness and strengths, therefore, we love and respect them respectively.

  1. Las las Burna na Odogwu, OBO na Baddest and BigWiz na Machanlah. At the end of the day, it’s all love ladies and gentlemen men.
WizKid Burna Boy Davido
