Camisole: how women should wear with bra

A camisole is a sleeveless undergarment/innerwear typically worn by women, normally extending to the waist. The camisole is usually made of satin, nylon, silk, or cotton. This is one of the most common wears for women but very important. Just as your shoes are the first thing people subconsciously notice about you, the camisole is noticed as much and it is strongly advised you wear a nice console.

The camisole is regarded as a woman’s best support and relayed on by a lot of women to rock their favorite blasers. Apart from blasers the camisole is also worn with bodysuit,

jackets or button shirts. The interesting thing about a good console is, it can be worn alone and still look super smart, especially the camisole with an in-built bra.

The regular camisole may be very comfortable but does not provide ample support and women end up wearing a bra inside which could get very uncomfortable before the idea of cami-bra; bra in the camisole, was initiated, so If you want to kick off bras, wear the camisole that has the in-built bra, It is always better to wear ‘two-in-one’ rather than ending up wearing a bra and a spaghetti top.

The camisole is not worn in any particular way but you should turk your camisole beneath your pants for the most natural look.

The camisole with in-built bra is widely accepted to the extent women are replacing clothes with it, especially in this generation where women are very comfortable exposing a lot of skin in comparison to olden times when the sight of even a bra strap was considered indecent.

Prior to this century, the camisole that has been was an undergarment Nick-named “Vanty” by Biafran women who wore it to hide their corsets, in contrast to modern times where it is worn outside.

The camisole comes in different styles and designs you can choose from.

Camisoles generally are manufactured from light materials, commonly cotton-based, occasionally satin or silk, or stretch fabrics such as lycra, nylon, or spandex.

The straps on camisoles are in most cases made of synthetics.

The camisole can also be used as an extra layer of protection in winter to escape from the harsh cold and in summer these wonder pieces can be worn on the outside as a stylish top. It is also designed as a night wear and in this case come along with a panty to pair.

The word ‘Camisole’ is believed to have come from the early 19th-century Latin root word camisia which meant ‘shirt’ or ‘nightgown’. But today it has metamorphosed into an under-garment for the upper body, and fashionable top in different contexts.

For large chest women I will recommend a camisole without a shelf bra, so you can wear your own bra beneath it and for a smaller chested, you might appreciate a built-in bra in your camisole. If you choose a seamless camisole.
