For 16 years, Elder O has constantly appeared on different stages, cracking ribs and making history in the comedy business.
The Ichie in comedy whose style of dressing connotes his stage name ‘Elder’ understands the power of command through dressing as well mastering the craft of standing out amongst others.
Having to creatively combine the Igbo traditional beads and native caps with contemporary wears helped the red cap comedian in taking over the stand-up comedy shows on the mainland part of Lagos for a decade and half and still counting, as it expanded his creativity and uniqueness.
The Ace comedian whose 1st annual comedy show COMIC RELIEF hosted on the 4th of December 2016 took over the internet proved a point to his colleagues who ran to the island to host their shows, that it is not about the location but the love, style and domination.
David Ugochukwu who still remains ‘Elder O’ has maintained relevance since 2016 when his career got to its peak and has continually hosted shows asides his annual comedy show; Comic Relief which has featured big names in the comedy industry amongst which are his friends, like: Okay Bakassi, Klint D Drunk, Baba Kay, Mr. P London, Charles Inojie, Yaw, Mc Abbey, Koffi, Owen Gee, Uzor, Odudu Oba of Wazobia FM, Mc Shaggy,
Senator, Mc Shakara, Funnybone, Lolo1 of Wazobiafm, Mr. Patrick and Destalker among a host of others.
